A simple demo of a single ADP Ultimate project with 2 instances (layers or popups) in it. All content types and methods can be combined with Ultimate, using a simple tabbed interface for the fast creation of each instance. Upload the project folder and add its name into the WordPress Plugin System and your done.

The video player http://transparentplayer.com/ latest beta release extends powerful functionality to include RTMP
live streaming.

Usually, an flv or mp4 video is played using “progressive download” which means that it starts playing
as soon as the buffer is full, and may be scrubbed forward to any point that has been buffered and cached in the browser.

With RTMP nothing is cached on the browser (the video can’t be stolen from the cache) and scrubbing can be
from anywhere in the timeline.

You can also specify a seconds-in variable to start playback at a certain point, and a duration variable
to specify how much to play back.

Advanced DHTML Popup is going server-side, a subscription based model with a low monthly fee will allow point and click project management, creation and code generation.

All you will need to do is paste in the usual code lines that are generated for you. Various additional benefits will arise from the service, such as statistics, real-time changes, rotation of content etc.

When we say real-time we mean that a user will be able to login, make a change to a project, press submit and the change will be immediately reflected in the page.

A free beta period will available for all subscribers with no obligation to continue after transition to a live state.

DHTML Popup Window creation just got a lot simpler and faster with Advanced DHTML Popup Ultimate

ADP Ultimate contains extensions to the power of ADP professional in the areas of multiple simultaneous layers, more complex project creation functions etc. ADP Professional will cover all the needs of the majority of users and itself continues to grow.

Among its powerful features are the automation of multiple layer generation, the ability to add and remove files to templates and create your own templates, a tabbed interface allowing for multiple layer design all within one session, and more.

In this latest revision the most powerful new feature is automated generation of multiple sequential layers, complimenting
the multiple simultaneous layer functions.

  • Multiple simultaneous instances with tabbed environment automatically
    generating the required API code
  • Ability to select an image for link-triggered popups, automating the syntax generation
for the link, which will also show up in the preview
  • Automated generation of multiple sequential layers (such as a list of thumbnail images), complimenting
the multiple simultaneous layer functions and
    allowing GUI-driven API usage
  • Brand new Site Wide Template which is shown at a fixed time after visitor arrives regardless of what
    page they are on
  • Ability to edit external project files within application (such as iframe’d content) using tabs along the preview window
  • Add / remove files to and from the project directly from the GUI
  • FTP upload of all files required by the project
  • Anchoring – single or multiple instances can now be anchored to an HTML element such as a table cell or
div, staying in place as the browser is resized or page scrolled
  • Automatic Content rotation – use the multiple content feature to set up different contents and have them rotated
according to cookie settings such as per-session or per some number of days
  • Entry and exit methods extended to include new combinations such as sliding back out
  • Link triggered projects can now have the link text itself (as well as the JavaScript syntax) directly edited
with a template for images option
  • New “tabber” template that partially appears on the left and slides in and out according to mouse-click

We had a request to show ADP tooltips in wordpress using the WordPress Popup System, pretty quick and easy to get these 2 examples up:

The powerful flash player Transparentplayer.com is now HTML5 capable in the sense of providing a fallback to HTML5 video on all i-devices (ipad, ipod, iphone). This means that the config file now accepts an additional video format for those devices and on detecting them with display that format in the HTML5 player.

Also in this release is full-screen capability. Coming soon in the next release will be RTMP.

Transparentplayer.com currently has a prototype of its website video player or html5 video. We are developing the beta version at this time. Our approach to delivering a quality html5 video player will be to deliver an automated solution that we believe resolves many of the concerns and challenges that use of the immature html5 standard creates.

We believe that the best approach currently will be to sense the browser type of the web visitor and if a browser that does not have flashplayer support is sensed the player script will serve up an html5 version of the player and video content.

For example when a user visits on an Apple iPad this would be sensed and the player script will seamlessly switch and deliver HTML5 video. All other visitors with flashplayer installed will see the flash based Transparent Player delivered content.

Our partner Josh Anderson and Scott Lundergan, two of the most sought out direct response video publishers on the web have just released a package called Optimize Your Video 2.0. The content of the first package was created and shared with a small group of clients in 2007 and many of those clients went on to optimize and publish their videos with stellar results.

Ever since, they have built upon every angle of direct response video publishing to release a special package for web video creation, done-for-you solutions, the main video triggers to have inside your videos, workflow strategies when creating your own videos or outsourcing them to make the creation process a total breeze.

You can see all the episodes here Optimize

They’ve included easy to follow creation tips, swipe files, blueprints and strategies for syndicating your content across the web, talking head videos, screen capture optimization, behind the scenes case studies of six and seven figure web video based product launches.

They’ve also gone a step further to include settings, loads of tricks and quick tutorials to reference when optimizing your videos for the web, podcast publishing strategies and new media strategies for multimedia content delivery.

Just the savings on voice-over resources, video landing page templates and generic niche video intro templates along are worth the price….. and those are just the bonuses!

See all 18 Modules of what has came out of the mastermind strategies that have been used with repeated success for the last 3 years with hundreds of their clients across several niche markets: Optimize

Footer Ads are the new breed of popup which are taking the internet marketing world by storm. The popularity of this type of popup over the traditional is ten-fold and in this article we will explain a little bit about why.

Pop-ups have been here a while now and are normally associated with annoying unwanted guests which normally result in deterring a visitor from the website rather than enticing them into viewing further. So you may be asking what’s different about the footer ads or any DHTML based ads? For a start they are discreet and un-blockable by popup blockers.

Version 2.49 of ADP Pro has been quite exciting – although on the surface it appears that only a few things have changed,
the reality is that the extensive core changes have made a lot of difference to users, especially those using it for multiple layers
on a page, or dynamically changing a single layer.

The new API extensions (adpPlace(), adpTitle(), adpScroll()) and the
dynamic updating of the positions of multiple layers with browser resizing have helped a lot of projects so far.

When developing this: DHTML Popup PHP/MySQL images database we wanted a way to indicate that the image was loading (being pulled from the database and downloading to the browser), a very common request.

We only wanted something simple, no graphics going round and round or anything like that, just “Loading…” with the dots cycling from 1-3 while waiting for the image.

The latest version of the The Transparent Flash Player will be available shortly. Integrated with the modal and exit methods, it is now far easier to use the powerful script that controls the movements of the player in the page and its triggering of other videos.

Announcing the imminent release of a new product ADV-Direct, a purely script & template driven plug & play product for immediate deployment of dhtml based content in your pages.

With one line of script placed in the header the user can then add content via single line calls to the script which contain all common parameters for each of the templates. Advanced configuration can be modified via a simple config file.

Currently templates exist for YouTube, The Transparent Player & Generic (user controlled) content. Methods available are scrolling, modal (lightbox)
effect, on-exit, 9 different locations in the page & more. Multiple layers with different kinds of content can simultaneously co-exist.

This product, begun originally as something for the Macintosh users but available to anyone as a lightweight yet powerful addition
to ADP, will revolutionize the way in which users can add content to web pages. It will be the focus of a strong development drive over
the next few months.

I was reading some blog article discussing all this about embedding cloaked links and affiliate links the other day and realized that most people just don’t realize how simple this is. Also, the way shown here avoids what I think are messy looking shorturls, or crude methods using simplistic JavaScript to modify what the status bar says.

Maybe in the future I’ll extend it to use a nice little web-interface where the actual and displayed URL’s can be entered, but for now I show the basic thing. When I wrote it I wasn’t concerned about hiding affiliate links, I just needed a way of simplifying and organizing the linking to various examples I have available.

Easily configure player parameters and flashvars from a new form directly into the project. This plugin (requires ADP Pro) makes adding Flash® video including alpha-transparent video into the popup content easy and simple.

It is under rapid development with the first of multiple new templates now completed. Near future releases (available as free upgrades) will include templates for all major players out there, including of course the hugely popular, powerful & lightweight Transparent Player which has its own WordPress Plugin Templates.

Starting with the release of 2.47 we have been working hard to push Advanced DHTML Popup Pro to a new level altogether at version 2.50. A whole series of additions is planned, including a range of powerful new scripted templates & better engineering of the templates backend to allow easy installation of new ones provided by us, or created by users.

The second of a series of powerful upgrades to Advanced DHTML Popup Pro has been released. Version 2.48 completes the plugin implementation. Last month we announced the modal script (lightbox effect) is now a real plugin, fully automated. This month the overlay images pack and the video script are both integrated.

But the real bonus is the video plugin, more on that below. More scripted templates, slide-up & slide-out methods and more.

All the ADP templates use in-line CSS for styling the content, but it is also possible to use both an external file or a CSS style block, such as you
would normally declare in the head section of your page. To do this though requires (thanks to IE’s handling of the dhtml content layer) a trick.

This popup slides up from the bottom edge on any wordpress blog post. Not only any post or page (including the home page) but also any number of posts you choose, including all posts with certain exceptions, or only the home page etc.

Here it is set to the full width of the browser and to follow page scroll. It could be any dimension, hold any content and slide up to any location in the post.

Single or multiple image thumbnails embedded into websites and blogs need to be expanded into a larger image when clicked or on mouseover. In this post the simplest example is shown – mouse over the thumbnail below for a larger view in a DHTML popup.

In this post of the transparent flash video player template series
we demonstrate the use of multiple anchors to attach multiple videos to. See this post for the single anchor case.

Each video has been offset (optionally) from the anchor (made visible deliberately here) by varying amounts in x,y just to show the possibilities.

Most importantly, by starting one video and then starting another, the download (streaming) of the first video is stopped, so that only one video is occupying the bandwidth at any one time. This is a totally unique feature of the transparent flash video player.

Then by going back to the first video the streaming will continue, while that of the second will stop. You can check this easily here by watching the progress bar of the player. In this way, any number of videos of any type can be listed and viewed on one page without ever loading the bandwidth with more than one.

(You may need to clear your browser cache to start over if you have already clicked the links)

The last video is also non-transparent, this video player can show any flash content, You-Tube content and custom content and now in Version 3.0 can show high-definition h.264 encoded content.

In this post of the transparent flash video player template series
we demonstrate the use of an anchor to attach the video to, so that it is always fixed in place, despite not being directly embedded in the post. This anchor allows for an offset in x,y to be specified so that precise positioning can be accomplished.

The anchor takes the form of an id, for example id=”adpAnchor1″ in this example, and can be used in any HTML element, such as a <p>, a <div>, or a table cell etc.

In this example the video shows up automatically, but we could just as easily have a link triggered video instead, as seen in this template if you just stop the video (set to close the dhtml layer as well as the video when stopped in this case) and click the link instead:

This is the blog of Advanced DHTML Popup and its sister sites including The WordPress Popup System. Here we track and provide examples of all the developments we make in rich media content (largely Flash Video) embedding in websites and wordpress blogs.

Our most recent release is the WordPress Plugin for DHTML popupssee here.

Also recently released is our powerful & lightweight flash video player. This player is focussed on the web and blog developer that is serious about using video, including multiple videos, since it is solves completely the problem of bandwidth overload with an option to override automatic video stream buffering. But this is only the start, affliliate links, redirection, running script at the end of play, auto-close, auto-scroll etc etc. See the blog post here.
